Who are Skudaboo?
Katie, founder of Skudaboo, always wanted to run her own business after my values no longer aligned to the corporate world and selling mass-produced products. She experienced the challenges of working from home in 2020, and found joy in creating a space that made me feel good.
One really unique service that Skudaboo offer is free home styling. Simply snap a photo of your room, and give Katie an idea of your style and she will suggest which prints to buy.
What are Glicée art prints?Â
Glicée, Pronounced zhee-clay, is a fancy term for a high-quality printing method using pigment-based inks through up to 12 nozzles, on high-grade archival paper. It ensures every stunning detail is captured and your prints will last a lifetime.
Skudaboo’s art print collection
Skudaboo’s website somehow feels like you’re walking through an upmarket art gallery, except you can actually afford the art. The site is very easy to use and caters to everyone’s needs. You can shop by theme, colour palette, room, art style or see what everyone else is buying in the best sellers list. You can also just use the search if you want something specific and they have prints of just about everything you could think of!

My experience with Skudaboo art prints
I ordered the ‘Mount Fuji Art Print‘ for my home as the design works nicely with my teal and pink colour palette throughout my house. One thing that helps Skudaboo stick out from the crowd, is that they offer a wide choice of coloured frames. I chose a black frame for this print as all my frames at home are black so it will fit in nicely. However, I think the pink, green and marroon frames are really cool!
The print arrived quickly and was well packaged with bubble wrap to protect the pint and frame. When I opened it, I was very impressed with the quality. The colours in the print were very bold and it looked exactly how it looked on the website. The wooden frame also felt very sturdy which impressed me. A lot of the time, companies use cheap frames that are very flimsy so this was a bonus.
I also love the fact that shopping at Skudaboo means you are supporting a small business. I have always been keen to shop small as I appreciate how much time and energy small business owners put into their work. It is clear that Katie has carefully curated a beautiful collection of artwork that she can be proud of.
Overall, I would highly recommend Skudaboo if you are looking for a high-quality art print for your home. I’ve already got my eye on a few prints and some of the candles! The wide range of products available, fast delivery and personal service make decorating your home fun and easy.
