Anthropologie will be dropping a dreamy collection of furniture that have been designed by Bethan Gray this September.
Welsh artist, Bethan Gray, is used to taking a hint from other cultures. Gray’s previous collections have looked to the Islamic world and the architecture of Oman for inspiration. This September, her latest partner Anthropologie are releasing a new collection for which Gray was inspired by ancient Native American cultures, and it couldn’t be more on trend! With a soft millennial palette of blush pink and mint green with marble, brass and velvet accents, the collection is an excellent fit with Anthropologie’s stunning Instagram-friendly aesthetic.
The product range features three separate furniture collections; the feather range, the strike range and the flurry range. The luxurious collections launch in September, however the products don’t come cheap. But having a look won’t hurt, so scroll down to find out more:
The Feather collection:
The feather motif used within this collection is a prominent symbol in Native American cultures, one of Bethan’s influences.
“The scallop shape is an abstraction of the feather motif that appears across the collection, inspired by the role that feathers play in cultures all over the world”
Bethan Gray
Feather accent chair:
These gorgeous velvet chairs are refined masterpieces suited for both ornate and minimalist spaces. They’ll truly be the focal point of the room. With brass legs, a scalloped back and plush velvet upholstery in blush pink, pale grey and petrol blue, it’s a real feature piece.

Feather dining chairs:
The feather dining chairs are totally striking and look very comfortable too. The brass legs will add an elegant touch to any dining room.

Feather bed:
The feather bed is one of the stand out pieces in the collection, and the price tag definitely show that! The subtle curve of the scalloped headboard is upholstered in velvet and would create a great focal point in the room.

Feather bar cabinet:
Available in mint and cream, this handcrafted oak wood bar cabinet with polished brass hardware is really eye catching. The cabinet opens to reveal storage space with a drawer, shelves, and space for hanging glasses.

Feather rug:
Like the feather chairs and bed, the rug features a scalloped edge. It has been made out of viscose and cotton with a medium pile to give it a soft and luxurious feel.

Feather drum coffee table:
The feather drum coffee table is a unique piece. The textured base is crafted out of wood and the top is polished Carrara marble.

The Strike collection:
The strike collection features a zigzag pattern which gives it a more modern, geometric feel.
“I am often inspired by cultural references and the patterns and forms found in nature. The zigzag design was abstracted from the veins and natural markings in marble and stone,”
Bethan Gray
Strike dining chair:
If you like a more modern feel, this is the perfect chair for you. The soft colours compliment the eye-catching zigzag pattern, yet all three colours are subtle enough that you can have a whole set without overpowering the rest of your decor. To make a bolder design statement, you can mix and match the chairs for a more eclectic look.

Strike dining table:
Crafted from luxurious Carrara marble with a beautiful polished brass frame, this stunning dining table is ideal for long gatherings with loved ones.

Strike side table:
The Strike side table comes in mint or charcoal and is made from mango wood, bone and resin. These quirky little pieces would look great in a modern living room, paired with a luxurious sofa or armchair.

Strike buffet:
The Strike Buffet immediately catches the eye with its poplar wood case and doors elevated with brass leaf detailing. It features 3 compartments with a series of shelves inside.

Strike mirror:
There are two mirrors in the Strike collection, a wall mirror and a full length floor mirror. There is a distinct retro feel due to the brass frames and curved mirrors.

Although the two collections are separate, in some cases they are similar enough to be used together. For example, you could pair the Feather dining chairs with the Strike dining table as both pieces have brass frames.
