My personal favourite is their new wall display unit that you can see below. It’s such a clever concept and looks really sleek and modern. With this shelf, you will be on board with the #shelfie trend!

Well the size and material has remained the same but Mette updated the colours and the weaving patterns. This new version comes in three different colours, and the team also made an extra durable version.

The highlight of this new collection is its blend of wood, metal and fabric toned with shades of brown, grey and black. Playing with solid, undeterred surfaces and raw, wood finishes, the furniture exudes the excellence of industrial production techniques. Moulding plastic and playing with soft fabrics, this line celebrates the sophistication of Scandinavian design sensibilities.

This is a big experimental move for IKEA. The HAY influence is evidenced by the sophisticated touches and sleek silhouettes that are not normally seen at IKEA. It helps to bring the elegance of Hay’s designs to a different market too!

It also includes Hay’s redesign the iconic IKEA blue and yellow Frakta bag, made from a white and forest-green woven fabric, with forest-green straps. The size and material is the same as the original IKEA bag, but the colours and the weaving patterns have been updated. This new version comes in three different colours as you can see below:
