When it comes to creating a relaxing home environment, there’s no better way to create a cosy atmosphere than lighting an amazing candle. The warm glow, delicate fragrances and flickering light are exactly what you need after a long day at work or on a cozy night in with your loved ones.

Aubrey Bay is a natural candle company run by Husband and Wife team Amy and Andrew. They make luxury scented soy candles inspired by their passion for quality and ethically sourced products. So when you light one of their candles, you can be confident that you are doing your bit for the environment as well as giving your home a beautiful smell.

Aubrey Bay’s fragrance collection is the product of Amy’s passion. The scents that Aubrey Bay offer at the moment can be found below:

  • Black Amber and Lavender
  • Coconut Lime
  • Lemon and Freesia
  • Lychee Peony
  • Orange and White Lotus
  • Wood Sage and Sea Salt

I chose to try the Coconut Lime candle as coconut is one of my all-time favourite scents. The first time I smelled the candle, I definitely got a stronger lime smell, which is understandable as coconut has quite a subtle scent. However, the coconut scent came out stronger once the candle was lit. The citrus lime scent helps to add freshness which compliments the sweetness of the coconut. I left the candle burning on my bedside table for a few hours and when I returned a little while later the soft scent had filled the room really nicely. I would strongly recommend the coconut lime scent, however, I understand that this may not appeal to everyone. The Wood Sage and Sea Salt candle sounds right up my street too and I’m very tempted to try this one next! (P.S they have just launched a new range of essential oils which sound absolutely dreamy!)

I was also really impressed with the packaging. The candle comes in a white box with the bold monochrome logo which looks really smart. It is also tied with a thin black ribbon which is a nice touch. The candle itself is in a 220ml recycled clear glass jar with a silver slim lid. The monochrome colour is really versatile as it complements all decor styles and colour schemes.

As mentioned before, Aubrey bay have a strong focus on natural ethically sourced products which is a huge benefit for me. In recent years there has been a huge drive in sustainability and eco-friendly living. All of Aubrey Bay’s candles are hand made from natural soy wax with a pure cotton wick, using the highest quality fragrance oils. Natural candles have many benefits including longer burn time, having biodegradable candle wax and producing less soot. Plus, you won’t be risking exposure to potentially harmful chemicals.

If you would like to switch to a natural Aubrey Bay candle, please visit their website here. You can get 10% off your next candle by using my code evemorganinteriors10 too!  If you purchase one, please follow their instructions to get the most out of your candle. For best results when lighting for the first time, allow the wax to melt to the sides of the jar, ensuring a consistent burn. The maximum recommended burn time is 4 hrs per burn. Always trim wick after each burn to 1/8 inch by breaking or cutting off the burnt ends when cool.
